My boyfriend is bored

A month ago I found out my boyfriend had been texting another woman, asking her for sex. I was incredibly disappointed, but thought it must be because he wasn't happy, so we weren't meant to be together and would be better off apart, and I started preparing to leave our home. He talked to me night after night, and convinced me to give him another chance, telling me he'd just been bored and taken me for granted, but that he'd never felt so happy with anyone and didn't know how he could live without me. The first three weeks were great - he was making an effort, we were spending lots of quality time together, and I truly felt this could bring us closer together and make our relationship stronger, but then last weekend this girl texted him again. I sent her a message telling her we were trying to work things out, and asking her to leave us alone - she texted me back, calling me all kinds of names and telling me my boyfriend had said some of these things to her when they'd slept together. My boyfriend of course denied it, but now I don't know what to think. I'm confused, angry, and I feel like my world has fallen out from underneath me - my confidence is so low that I don't care about anything any more, and I've started cutting myself to deal with the overwhelming sadness I feel. I don't think I can get any lower, but I don't have the energy to get out of this situation either. I just don't know what to do.

Hey hun, Just read your comment, and i can totally emphasise with you. IU went through a very similar thing with my x-girlfriend, and it really knocked me for six! At the time you think you cant go on, that life cant get any better, but you HAVE to be strong. If it is a possibility that your boyfriend has slept with another girl, then it is likely he will do it again. You need to go out, have a change of scenery, have a good night out with your mates, itll help you take your mind of it.
